Students listen to 4 recordings — 2 monologues and 2 conversations between two or four individuals — and solve 40 questions in total. The time given for this module is 30 minutes.
You solve questions on 3 or 4 passages — 40 questions in total — analysing and understanding the core ideas of each passage. The total time for this module is 60 minutes.
Two tasks: Task 1 (150 words) interprets a given graph, table, diagram or chart; Task 2 is a 250-word essay analysing given problems or arguments. Both must be completed within 60 minutes.
Three parts: a personal introduction, a topic given by the examiner, and a discussion on that topic. The whole speaking test takes around 12–15 minutes.
